Happy Mother’s Day…

Giving birth is just the beginning of the journey…often women think, “it’s too hard, I can’t do it, I’m not strong enough.”  But having the baby is the first step, the jump off, in to the wild and wacky and wonderful world that is motherhood.

Birth is just a metaphor for all that mothering is…letting go, trying hard, letting go, trying harder still, experiencing bliss, feeling despair, feeling joy, feeling scared.

When you open up both literally and figuratively and allow a child to come through your body…you are merely experiencing a microcosm of the next 20 years of your life.

Hang on sisters, its a wild ride indeed!
